Following extensive discussions with the development team, I’ve made the difficult decision to move the release window.

It was letting a draught in. The desk is much more comfortable now.

For the avoidance of doubt, there still isn’t a release date. You can’t miss a deadline you haven’t announced. This is the sort of sophisticated production strategy that would cost a publisher several million pounds in consultancy fees.

I realise it’s been a while since the last update. Time moves differently in independent development. You open the project on a Tuesday, investigate a small issue, and discover it’s apparently a different financial year.

There has been progress. There have also been several occasions on which progress was carefully removed and replaced with a slightly different problem. I believe the technical term is iteration.

The network has requested more spectacle. I’ve requested that the network remember it is also me.

We remain committed to delivering an experience.

Which experience, and to whom, are matters for a future announcement. Thank you for your patience, whether voluntary or otherwise.
